No plans or guidance but for a client of ours.
The radio system integrates it's own 120-12 robust power supply but can also scavenge 12vdc direct (plain old car battery if need be) for extremely resource scarce or natural disaster scenarios.
Has a loudspeaker but also a headset box with automatic switching from loudspeaker and integrates with a kick switch for manual transmit recieve. Great for dispatch center or private communication.
Designed for tactical use or remote or interim command and control operations requiring a quick setup.
Drop your pelican, flip it open, power it up and you are now a tactical command and dispatch center in as fast as the unit can boot. Which is roughly about four seconds.
The unit also comes with a mag mount antenna with a 35ft lead for optimal high ground placement to reduce signal drop.
And all of this wrapped in a waterproof pelican case (with all items mounted securely for rough duty service).
This was a day well spent.
Have a deuce and a half.
